Return to Camiguin Island PHILIPPINES - VLOG DAY 1

The highlight of this trip to Camiguin Island was staying with a local family, and experiencing a ton of culture. This was our second trip to Camiguin after eleven years. The Island is a special place for me, as for now it's my favorite place in the Philippines so far.

Our day started at 0145 hours on October 18, 2019. On this trip we took Marilou's sister, her husband, and our nephew. We caught the bus at the bus terminal behind Robinson's Mall, and rode about 3.5 hours to Balingoan to catch the ferry to Camiguin.

From wandering around a lanzones forest to swimming in the sea, to collecting banana hearts on a banana plantation, to watching the kids practice for the upcoming lanzones festival. Our first day was packed.
