Building a Beach House in the Philippines Part 11

We're back at it again! My brother-in-law was able to find some carpenters to continue working for

our beach house as our previous carpenter was advised not to work for awhile due to medical issue. This is a blessing in disguise because our new carpenters are able to work on continuous job, rather than just weekends. Last week, they continued working what was left off and finished off the upper part of the walls with holed "amakan". First floor was also being worked in progress, and we are aiming for this week for everything to be finished - from installation of the main door, entrance door to the second floor, cemented first floor, native window for our bedroom, etc.
Also, Marilou and I planted some plants like macarthur plam tree, heliconia tree, and others. We have more flowers and plants ready to be planted when our house is ready.
