Exploring and Surfing Cloud 9 - Siargao Island - PHILIPPINES

I can officially say I surfed Cloud 9 in the PHILIPPINES! Or at least real close to Cloud 9. The surf spot was actually named Jacking Horse which is a beginners spot right next to Cloud 9. Either way I was in the same vicinity and I'm going to put a check mark next to "Surf Cloud 9, Philippines"

We arrived around 10AM during low tide, so there were no surfers surfing the real Cloud 9, so we paid ₱50 ($1) to walk out to the observation deck where they hold many surfing competitions. We then walked to the right side of the beach towards some of the restaurants and shops. We met an instructor and talked for a bit. She told me that the surf would be better after 3PM. So we came back and I took a lesson and went out with the instructor for ₱500 ($10) for one hour of amazing good time hoping back on the surf board. (Don't forget to tip your instructors!).

I will never forget this most excellent day.
